Games Global will continue to produce slots utilising IP from well-known entertainment brands after the studio announced a collaboration with Assassin’s Creed.
The deal sees Games Global gain exclusive rights to the video game series’ popular IP to create four narrative-driven slot releases centred around the Order of Assassins – the characters that feature in the series.
Andy Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global, commented: “Ubisoft is a true pioneer in the entertainment industry and has cultivated a catalogue of household franchises in the video game sector.”
Games Global will use the partnership to tap into the established video game series’ fan base, with over 230 million copies of Assassin’s Creed having been sold worldwide.
Booth added: “This partnership enables Games Global to deliver impactful content to players worldwide by combining the engaging lore of Assassin’s Creed with the strength of its iconic brand.”
The move adds to Games Global’s repertoire of slots that utilise branding from huge entertainment brands, as the studio formed deals to release games with licensing from the UFC and WWE last year.
Additionally, the studio released a slot in collaboration with Floyd Mayweather, an unbeaten boxer with an impressive 50-0 professional record, and undoubtedly an icon of the sport.
On that deal, Booth said: “The collaboration with Floyd Mayweather enhances Games Global’s reputation as a pioneering provider of combat-themed content by associating the brand with a globally recognised sports icon, which boosts visibility and credibility.”
