Igaming supplier NE Group has developed its latest crash game, taking players onto the football pitch with the launch of Defender

While the game was initially released back in 2022, the title has since undertaken several user interface and design evolutions in a bid to ‘elevate the gaming experience’.

Imran Bukhari, NE Group CEO, commented: “Since Defender launched it has been a massive hit and continues to score big with its fans. The result of these enhancements is a faster, more engaging, and user-friendly version of Defender, optimised for all mobile devices.

“We expect to see similarly strong results in Africa, the Indian subcontinent and LatAm and we’re beginning to see plenty of take up in Europe.”

NE Group has optimised the game’s code to remove unnecessary intervals, allowing for faster load times. The game now also opens a new browser window when being played, as the supplier hopes to deliver ‘an immersive experience free of distractions’.

Furthermore, Defender showcases a balance tracker, allowing players to keep an eye on their spending using the top bar above the game screen.

The developer has introduced a new lobby area to the game, displaying the player’s previous game rounds and decisions in the history tab, while also showcasing statistics and a guide to the game.
