Light & Wonder has inked a deal with independent supplier ReelPlay, agreeing to take its slot release Hypernova Megaways live in British Columbia.
Integrating the slot title into Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming aggregation platform, ReelPlay’s proprietary slot release will become available to players within the British Columbia Lottery Corporation jurisdiction.
Steve Mayes, Digital Partnerships Director at Light & Wonder, noted: “Having worked closely with ReelPlay for many years, we fully expect their extended distribution into BCLC to be a success for all parties and look forward to future ReelPlay releases across our network.”
Signalling the developer’s debut in the Canadian province, ReelPlay has agreed to provide further content as the deal “expands into new regulated markets”, adding to over 3,500 games hosted on the OpenGaming platform.

Launched in 2018, Hypernova Megaways utilised Big Time Gaming’s branded slot mechanic to set an intergalactic, outer space theme with six reels, 117,659 ways to win and an RTP of 96.1 per cent.
