Soft2Bet is seeking to boost retention for its operating partners with a new system allowing players to build their own island called MEGA Islands.
MEGA Islands is a progression layer that carries over sessions, where players construct their own island over time and collect resources through gameplay to build, upgrade and unlock new stages.
The latest addition to the MEGA suite also allows users to plunder other islands to gain resources and progress their own islands and features no fixed endpoint.
Soft2Bet believes operators can ‘create stronger player journeys, longer engagement cycles and more consistent value in competitive markets’ with MEGA Islands.
Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Officer at Soft2Bet, noted: “MEGA Islands is designed to make retention feel natural by giving players a progression journey they want to keep returning to.
“When players can build their own island, collect resources, unlock upgrades through plundering, each session becomes part of a longer experience. That gives players a clear reason to return while providing operators with a retention tool that fits naturally across casino and sportsbook.”
Lodur, Soft2Bet’s iGaming platform in Sweden, is already one market which is bringing MEGA Islands to its players. Another market the provider may be targeting is Alberta.
Soft2Bet sees the Canadian province as a key strategic focus in its wider expansion roadmap, given the market’s potential for growth.
David Yatom Hay, General Counsel at Soft2Bet, added: “As we evaluate our entry into Alberta, pending regulatory approval, we are committed to delivering localised, engaging experiences that reflect the unique preferences and culture of each market.
“Innovation is paramount at Soft2Bet and our goal is to develop exciting products that meet our customers where they are most comfortable.”
