ThrillTech has debuted in the African market after launching a sidebet jackpot with 888AFRICA in Mozambique.
Titled ‘Segunda Chance’, the new activation is an opt-in jackpot separate to a player’s main bet by offering them the chance to place a secondary wager that contributes to a player-funded jackpot.
The move marks the first activation since the jackpot technology provider signed a partnership agreement with SportingTech – the platform provider behind 888AFRICA’s brands.

At the time of the announcement, ThrillTech hailed the partnership with SportingTech for providing the company with access to markets around the world, including Latin America and Africa.
At the centre of the partnership is ThrillTech’s ThrillPots side-bet technology, which sits independently of normal gameplay and is funded by players who opt in to taking part.
According to ThrillTech, the technology serves as a tool designed specifically to boost incremental revenue without interfering with a player’s core spend.
