Videoslots enforces UK mandatory loss limits

Online casino operator Videoslots has reiterated its commitment to “responsible gambling,” after enforcing mandatory loss limits for all its UK based players.

Videoslots, licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, has implemented these changes across all accounts within the territory in an attempt to help protect players during the current COVID-19 pandemic and keep its experience safe, fair and fun.

Players are required to set their monthly loss limits before placing their first bets on their favourite games, following which it will take seven days for players to be able to change their loss limits.

During the seven-day period, these players will be contacted by Videoslots responsible gambling team.

Alexander Stevendahl, CEO at Videoslots.com, said of the introduction: “Playing on Videoslots.com should be a safe and enjoyable form of entertainment and that’s why we’ve made loss limits mandatory.

“Prompted by the pandemic while understanding it’s the right thing to do as the industry moves forward regardless, this addition is another way to further protect our players, especially during these tough times. We expect other operators to follow suit.”

Last month online casino slot developer Revolver Gaming announced a content agreement with Videoslots which saw the firm provide its portfolio of titles.

The agreement sees all of Revolver’s current games being offered with the online casino portal, including the likes of Multiplier Man, Reign of Gnomes and Parrots of the Caribbean.

The recently launched title Dragon Spins will also be playable on the site, and moving forward any new releases from the company will also be made available on desktop and mobile platforms.
