Blue Guru’s biblical battle finds its way to SOTW

Nothing makes for better entertainment than a battle between good and evil, which is certainly the case with Blue Guru Games’ latest slot release, Clash of the Seraphim, which pits the dark against the light to claim our Slot of the Week award.

On a 7×7 reel set, Clash of the Seraphim uses cluster pays to award winning prizes to the player. The title comes with medium volatility and an RTP of 95.51 per cent and showcases bonus features such as enlarged high-paying symbols and free spins.

Symbols in the game come in the form of red and green gemstones, staffs, tridents, a dark masked warrior and a golden light goddess. Payouts are given out when five or more identical symbols land in a cluster, offering up to x1,000 the player’s stake if over 40 of the highest-paying warrior symbols land together.

Wins are also cascading, meaning winning symbols will disappear after providing their payout, to make way for new symbols and increase the win potential.

Flying eye scatters can also drop into play, triggering the free spins bonus feature if just one scatter manages to make it to the bottom of the reels, following cascading wins opening space below it.

Additionally, flying shield wilds can appear, substituting for all symbols other than the scatter. Light and dark drop areas will appear on the reels, varying in size and location, if a wild lands in one of these special areas, then every symbol also contained in the drop area will turn into either the dark warrior or light goddess symbol, depending if the drop area is light or dark.

When the scatter drops to the bottom row, players get to choose between two free game modes on offer, with one dark and one light. The dark free spins mode offers eight spins with only dark drop areas available, whereas the light mode provides the player with 15 free spins and only light drop areas appear. The scatter symbol does not drop in during any of these features.
