Nolimit City’s latest slot title Harlequin Carnival theatrically made its debut this week and has been selected as our Slot of the Week.
The Malta based software provider invited players to dress up in their best celebratory attire to experience medieval Venice’s most exuberant time of the year in its latest slot title Harlequin Carnival.
Following on from its previous release, Punk Rocker xWays, in February Nolimit City continues to unleash the full power of its software developing capabilities and xNudge mechanic with its true representation of Masquerade balls.

This 3×5 classic reel with 20 paylines has bright and lush graphics as players hope to land the Lucky Lady to win big with a max potential return of 5871x the original stake. The stairs to a Venetian palazzo rising from the canal landing serve as the background whilst flanked by two statues, the reels are dominated by masked people and the harlequin.
The lower value symbols are ornately decorated gold playing cards which display the ace of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs. The higher value symbols are five colourful revellers wearing different masks, a grape filed one, a beaked plague doctor-like mask, a red cat, a crescent moon and a golden sun.
A red and black harlequin is the wild symbol and comes in 1×3 size. It can substitute for any of the pay symbols and adds so more due to its xNudge properties.
The first feature is the xNudge Wild which is fully stacked and can land on any reel. If it partially lands, then it’s always nudged to cover a full reel.
Landing the xNudge wild symbol also triggers Harlequins Respins and the number of reels to its left is the number of respins awarded. Then on each respin the symbol moves one reel to the left until reaching the first reel where it’s removed for the next spin.
Players have two ways of triggering the Harlequin Bonus game. One is landing three scatters on a regular spin, the second is when three are collected during respins. When triggered the bonus game initially begins with eight free spins.
The game has maximum volatility with a default RTP of 96.14 per cent. Alternatively, it can be offered in their DX version with a reduced RTP of 94.29 per cent.
