Push Gaming’s prehistoric police patrol claims Slot of the Week

Push Gaming has introduced players to a band of Triceri-cops with its latest roar-some slot release, Dino P.D., which offered dino-mite free spins features to claim our Slot of the Week award.

Using a 5×4 reel board, Dino P.D. has 20-paylines to offer a maximum win of up to x10,000 the player’s bet. The slot has medium-high volatility with an RTP range of 94.43 and 96.38 per cent, with bonus features such as free spins gambles and instant prize dino coins.

George Fil, Group Managing Director at Push Gaming, commented: “Dino P.D. provides players with an amalgamation of pre-established popular themes and mechanics whilst upgrading some of the core features that made the original Dinopolis such an instant hit.

“We’re really proud of the various mechanics we’ve worked into the gameplay. Especially dino coins, which unlock more thrilling levels that we think players are going to love.

“It’s the return of characters that proved so popular previously with award-winning art direction too, so it’s fantastic to see the theme return for more prehistoric fun.”

Bonus egg scatters are available on reels one and three, with special gamble egg scatters able to land in the fifth reel. The special gamble scatter will reveal one of three different free spins features, which is activated if revealed alongside egg scatters on reels one and three.

Dino coins symbols of bronze, silver and gold can also drop into play, displaying multiplied bet amount values between x1 and x1,000. These cash prizes will be paid out if five or more coins appear on the same spin.

Additionally, wild W symbols are included, substituting for all symbols other than the dino coins and egg scatters. Landing two, three, four or five wilds in a winning combination will provide payouts of x0.5, x5, x25 and x250 respectively.

Gamble egg scatters can award either a bronze, silver or gold free spins feature.

If the egg reveals a bronze free spins game mode, between eight and 10 free spins will be awarded and one low value symbol will be upgraded to a high value dinosaur symbol to increase the bonus game mode’s win potential.

If silver free spins are provided, between eight and 10 spins will be presented with either two or three low value symbols converting to high value dinosaurs.

Gold free spins will trigger between eight and 10 spins with all four low value symbols converting into high value dinosaur symbols.

When having activated the free spins game mode, players will be given the option to gamble their awarded free spins prize in order to receive the next-highest level of free spins game mode.

With this gamble, players are to spin a wheel that can either land in a non-winning zone or a free spins winning zone. When landing in a non-winning zone, players will return to the base game empty-handed, while winning will present players with the next free spins level and another chance to gamble for the next-highest feature if they wish.

During the free spins, dino coin collector symbols can drop into play. Landing four of these collector coins in the same free spins feature will convert any remaining low value symbols in play into high value dinosaur symbols.

These dino collector symbols cannot appear once all four low value symbols have been upgraded into high value dinosaur symbols, meaning that they cannot appear at all in the golden free spins game mode.

When all four low value symbols are available to be converted, the first conversion, triggered by landing four collector coins, will provide four extra spins with a x2 win multiplier for all wins in the game mode.

The second conversion will award three spins and upgrade the multiplier to x3, the third also provides three spins but with a x5 multiplier and the final fourth conversion will award two spins with a win multiplier of x10.
