Swintt’s developer subsidiary Elysium Studios has sent players to the oldest recorded civilization of Mesopotamia to claim our Slot of the Week award with Law of Gilgamesh.
Offering ancient wins by way of cascading clusters, Law of Gilgamesh showcases a 6×6 reel grid that uses cluster-pays of five or more identical symbols, offering a maximum win of x10,188 the player’s bet. The slot has high volatility with an RTP of 94.04 per cent.
David Mann, CEO at Swintt, commented: “We are very excited about the launch of our next game Law of Gilgamesh, a second game in the lineup from Elysium Studios, a game provider, which we recently acquired.
“This partnership has allowed us to bring together Elysium’s innovative gaming expertise and creative prowess to deliver unique and immersive content and our expertise in technology, commercial partnerships and marketing.
“Law of Gilgamesh combines captivating storytelling with cutting-edge gameplay with five bonus features and we can’t wait for players to embark on this epic adventure.”
Low value symbols are represented by orange birds, green bulls, blue rams and red lions. If the right number of winning combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.1 and x60 the player’s bet.
Figures from Mesopotamian mythology depict the high value symbols, with Enkidu, Ishtar and Gilgamesh himself appearing. These symbols can provide wins between x0.5 and x200 the player’s bet.
Wins are formed throughout this game when symbols land adjacently, with clusters of five or more identical symbols needed to provide payouts.
All symbols in winning clusters will disappear after providing their prizes, making way for new symbols that drop in from the top of the game grid.
On every spin, an additional reel sits above the game grid, spinning through the Enkidu, Ishtar and Gilgamesh symbols.
One of these symbols will be selected for every spin and turn into a meter, with all winning clusters that occur on that spin filling this selected symbol’s meter.
When the Enkidu, Ishtar or Gilgamesh meters become full, each character will perform their respective feature.
The Gilgamesh feature will transform random cells into wild symbols, while the Ishtar feature removes all low value symbols from play as a cascade occurs on the reel set and new high value symbols appear.
Lastly, the Enkidu feature destroys a number of symbols – other than scatter symbols – in an X formation on the board. This then triggers a cascade where new symbols drop in from the top of the reels.
Golden big cat scatters can appear, triggering seven free spins when three land on the same turn.
During these free spins, every character feature that occurs will increase a multiplier that enhances every win throughout the feature. Each scatter that appears will award one additional free spin.
Additionally, every free spin will begin with one character meter filled, meaning that one character feature is guaranteed on every spin and the multiplier will increase by at least x1 on every spin.
Book scatters are also available, triggering the tower bonus game mode when three land on a single spin. In this game mode, players are presented with three levels of doors on a tower.
Players spin the first level, which will either award a multiplier of access to the next-highest tier. As the player progresses through the tiers, the available multiplier prizes on offer increase.
Finally, wild text symbols are included in the base game, substituting for all symbols other than the game’s two scatter symbols.
