THE DETAILS
The game has different themes which affect the appearing Wild symbols in the base game, the music and the Free Spins feature. The theme changes randomly into a different one after a Free Spins or Crypt Spins feature has ended. Queen of the Damned, Fire Mistress, and Metal Priestess themes are indicated by green, purple, and blue backgrounds respectively.
During the base game, Spirit Gate can randomly appear on any reel. If a Wild symbol lands during this round, the Wild expands and triggers one re-spin with a special bonus feature.
Additionally, when the Queen of the Damned Wild symbol lands in Spirit Gate, it adds the Spirit Gate to all reels for the re-spin. Moreover, if the Fire Mistress Wild lands in Spirit Gate, it awards a random multiplier for the re-spin.
If the Metal Priestess Wild symbol lands in Spirit Gate it turns all Ritual Relic symbols into Skull symbols.
Players can trigger eight Free Spins by landing three Scatter symbols on reels one, three and five. Additionally, eight Crypt Spins can be activated through the base game and Free Spin modes with three upgraded Scatters.
WHAT THEY SAY
Martin Zettergen, CPO of Play’n GO, reveals the secret behind creating a music slot: “Some slots based around bands have no effort put into gameplay. They’re relying on the fanbase to play the game purely because they recognise the faces.
“You need to make sure that it would still be a game that players would enjoy if you stripped away the slot’s band theme. That way, it keeps players entertained and appeals to people that might not necessarily be fans of the music.
“It’s about giving MORE than just a gimmick.”
