Low value symbols in the game come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, with J through to A. These symbols will offer a winning payout, depending on the amount of matching combinations that land in one go.
Other symbols that are depicted in the game include an explorer character, Egyptian gods, blue scarab beetles and archeological artefacts.
A book represents the scatter symbol for this title, triggering a win spins bonus if three or more land on the reels at once.
An ancient Egyptian column is used as the wild symbol, substituting for all paying symbols in the game. Once these wilds have landed onto the board, they will expand to fill entire reels and increase the win potential.
When activated, any non-winning spins increment the trail of riches meter at the top of the board, increasing a multiplier by one when the meter becomes full. This multiplier will be implemented to the free spins payout at the end of the free turns.
Players also have the opportunity to activate the spin boost feature, which is only available on £5 stakes. This mode sees any win of £5 or higher offer the chance to trigger the win spins bonus.
