The next generation of slots, player protection, the potential of emerging markets, and the future of igaming affiliates are among the topics set to be discussed at this week’s CasinoBeats Summit conference and exhibition.
The Summit takes place on July 14-15 in an innovative integrated live and digital format, which will see a select group of senior executives attend in person at the InterContinental in St Julian’s, Malta and an international audience join an online broadcast of the event.
As the first major event of the year dedicated to the online casino industry, the Summit has attracted huge interest from operators and the attendee list includes representatives from bet365, Betpoint Group, Betsson, Betway, Casumo, ComeOn, Flutter, Genesis Global, Hero Gaming, Karamba, L&L Europe, LeoVegas, Novibet, Twin, Videoslots, and Wildz.
The central theme of the conference agenda is igaming development, innovation and strategy, and there are content tracks focused on the next generation of slots, the latest products, and the changing face of online casino marketing strategies.
A further conference highlight is the Leadership track, which will see senior executives from operators, leading games studios, tech suppliers, and igaming affiliates exchange ideas about the biggest issues facing the industry in Malta and beyond.
Delegates can also look forward to tracks about how to survive and thrive in the changing conditions of key established markets, such as Sweden, the UK, Italy, and Spain, and the opportunities in emerging markets including the US, Latin America, the Netherlands, and Germany.
The speaker line-up comprises 120 renowned experts, including Ariel Reem (CEO, Genesis Global), Jesper Kärrbrink (chairman, Green Jade Games), Tim De Borle (CEO, Napoleon Sports & Casino), Ciara Nic Liam (commercial director – gaming, Betsson Group), Simon Hammon (CPO, Relax Gaming), Johan Styren (CEO, Dilanti Media), Monica Rangel (head of PT markets, 888), Mark Grech (head of gaming & business development, Game Lounge), Laricea Roman (head of marketing, PartyCasino), and Alessandro Allara (managing director, Lottomatica).
Once the conference element of the event is over, attention will turn to the inaugural CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards ceremony.
To tie in with Malta’s status as a centre of excellence for the games development industry, the Awards are designed to celebrate those behind the best titles of the past 12 months and the judges will look beyond commercial success to recognise the most creative and innovative teams across 14 categories.
Rasmus Sojmark, founder and CEO of Summit organiser SBC, said: “We’re delighted to be returning to Malta, where the igaming community has always given us a warm welcome and great support, for the first big online casino industry event of 2021.
“Malta is a renowned international hub for igaming and we have some of the most influential figures from the island’s industry joining us for the conference. Whether you are attending in person at the InterContinental or logging in for the digital edition of the show, you’ll have a great opportunity to benefit from the insights and ideas of the expert speakers and to make valuable new contacts.”
In addition to the conference and Game Developer Awards, CasinoBeats Summit also features a selection of evening networking events in Malta and online networking tools within the digital event platform, where delegates can also find an interactive exhibition showcasing cutting edge new games and products.
