Thunderkick’s ghost ship sets sail to claim Slot of the Week

Pirate ghosts and their monkey shipmates hand out a treasure trove of features in Thunderkick’s latest swash-buckling slot release, Bones & Bounty, haunting players with sticky wild respins to claim our Slot of the Week title.

While golden bonus crab coins appear to offer a prize-multiplying cash bonus game mode, the base game takes place on a 6×4 reel board that offers 4,096-ways to win with a maximum win of up to x25,000 the player’s bet.

Mike Collins, Product Owner at Thunderkick, commented: “Get ready to set sail on a hair-raising journey… Bones & Bounty is full of thrills, and we’re delighted to welcome players aboard our pirate ship headed straight towards big wins.

“Stacked respin wilds keep the momentum high during the base game, with a multi-faceted and unique bonus round that packs in plenty of excitement – and abundant chances to take home a hauntingly good prize.”

Low value symbols come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, from nine through to Ace, while maps, sand timers, telescopes and compasses depict the medium value symbols.

High value symbols are represented by pirate captains that man the ghost ship. If the right number of winning combinations fall at once, these symbols can offer between x1 and x10 the chosen stake.

Bonus crab coins are also available, triggering the cash bonus game when three or more land on the same spin.

Ghost monkey wilds can also drop into play, substituting for all symbols other than the bonus crab coins. Additionally, stacked 1×2-size ghost pirate symbols can appear, triggering a free respin in which they stay sticky on the reels for one enhanced free spin.

Each time this occurs, the ghost pirate wild will award one free respin in which it stays sticky in its cell to award further wild wins. This can be repeated if another pirate wild drops into play on the free respin.

In the cash bonus game mode, players are given three spins where gold coins displaying monetary values between x1 and x10 can drop into play. Each coin, or other bonus symbol, that appears will reset the number of spins to three.

Sitting to the right of the board is a ghost pirate multiplier reel. Each time a coin drops into play, all symbols will shift one space to the right to get closer to this multiplier reel.

Starting at x2, the multiplier reel will enhance all coins that eventually slide over to it, before placing the coins with increased values back on the main part of the reel in a random position.

The ghost pirate can also place coins on top of other coins to add their values together and make room for more coins.

Available bonus symbols include a ghost monkey and a treasure chest. The ghost monkey will reveal a multiplier value between x1 and x3 that will be added to the ghost pirate’s multiplier which will subsequently increase, further enhancing the next spins.

These ghost monkeys will then turn into gold coins after performing the additional multiplier feature.

Additionally, treasure chests will reveal a monetary value between x1 and x3 that will be added to all coins once the treasure chests reach the ghost pirate reel. After awarding these multipliers, the treasure chests will be placed back on a random position on the initial reels for the feature to potentially be repeated.
