THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, from Jack through to Ace. If the right number of paying combinations appear at once, these symbols can offer between x0.5 and x4 the player’s bet.
Next up, green horns, blue bottles and purple helmets depict the medium value symbols, offering between x1 and x15 the player’s wager.
High value symbols are represented by green and blue warriors, alongside a purple Roman emperor. These symbols can offer between x3 and x40, depending on the number of winning combinations that fall at once.
Wild eagle symbols are available, substituting for all symbols other than the sword symbols and bonus shield scatters,
Throughout the game, sword symbols can drop into play, awarding prizes from the table above the reel set depending on how many swords land on the same spin. These prizes range from x2 for four swords all the way to x5,000 for 10 swords, hence the name.
Finally, shield scatters can appear, triggering eight, 12 or 15 free spins if three, four or five land on the same spin respectively.
THE DETAILS
When activating the free spins feature, landing four or five scatters will respectively cause either two or four low and medium value symbols to be converted into sword symbols for the duration of the game mode.
Doing this allows for a higher chance of winning sword prizes from the table above the reel set.
Then, throughout the bonus game, collecting four shields over the course of the free spins will cause the next lowest value symbol available to be converted into a sword symbol on every spin.
Causing this to happen once will result in an additional four spins, while repeating it again will provide an extra two spins and achieving it for a third time provides one extra spin.
Furthermore, players can activate an ‘ante bet’ feature in order to increase their chances of landing bonus features by increasing their stake size by 20 per cent.
