Low value symbols come in the form of the high end of a deck of cards, with a 10, J, Q, K and an A. These symbols can offer between x0.1 and x0.6 the player’s stake, depending on the amount of winning combinations that land on a single turn.
High value symbols are represented by different totem faces with orange, green, blue, red and purple characters. If the right amount of matching combinations land in one go then these symbols can offer between x0.5 and x1.2 the player’s bet.
Other symbols in the game include an idol symbol that can only land on the top horizontal reel to trigger the jackpot, a free spins text symbol to trigger free spins and a wild W symbol that substitutes for all low and high value symbols.
Volcano symbols are also included, activating the lava spin and eruption spin modes every 10 and 50 spins respectively.
THE DETAILS
In Treasures of Kilauea, there is a spin marker on the left that displays how many spins you have completed in the game. Every time the lava symbol lands into play, it leaves behind a fiery border around the square it landed in, every 10 spins the volcano erupt feature is triggered and these fiery squares turn into wilds.
There is another counter to the right of the screen, which counts from zero to five. This figure is counting the amount of lava spin modes that have been activated. When five lava spins have been played, the eruption spin will be triggered.
During the eruption spin, squares where volcano symbols have landed will turn into wilds, with the chance of additional wilds landing into play. Any additional wild that lands on top of a current wild will create a wild with a multiplier of x2 to apply to any winning combinations it contributes to.
If three or more free spins symbols land on one go, then this will trigger the free spins feature. Players can win between five and 45 free spins depending on how many free spin scatters land on the reels with up to 10 sticky wilds to increase the win potential of the feature.
Landing an Idol symbol on the top reel can trigger one of five jackpot prizes, micro, mini, minor, major or mega jackpots can be won. These offer between x18 and x5,000 the player’s stake. A spinning wheel will decide which jackpot is awarded.
