December was yet another impressive month for IGT’s Cash Eruption slot which claimed the top spot in several of Eilers-Fantini’s US-focused charts.

However, for the first time in several months, the slot was knocked from its top spot in Canada’s top slots by GGR charts for the month, pipped to the post by an AGS title.

Meanwhile, Light & Wonder dropped from second to fifth place in Canada’s supplier charts, overtaken by Evolution, Games Global and Pragmatic Play

US round-up

Once again, IGT’s Cash Eruption slot remained at the top of Eilers-Fantini’s top slots by GGR charts for another month. The title’s portion of GGR grew even further, reaching 3.39%, a considerable rise from November’s 2.88%.

Last month’s third-place finisher in the GGR charts, Buffalo from Aristocrat, rose to second, although its GGR share dropped from 1.68% to 1.48%.

As Aristocrat’s Buffalo slot and Evolution’s Live Dealer Lighting Roulette dropped from second and third-place finishes in November, respectively, this opened up space for a shake-up in the top three.

VIP Blackjack from Evolution shot into the top 10 in December, outperforming most of the competition to secure second with a 2.08% share of GGR. This title was followed by IGT’s Blackjack, which climbed from fourth to third with 1.64% GGR.

Rounding out the top five were Live Dealer Crazy Time from Evolution, which rose from fifth to fourth with 1.56% GGR, followed by the same studio’s aforementioned Live Dealer Lightning Roulette.

From the top games per GGR, 15 were slot titles, three were table games, six were live casino titles and one was an instant win game, with no video poker games making the top 25 for just the fourth time in the past year.

Cash Eruption further proved its dominance by remaining in pole position in the top games overall charts, while last month’s ninth-place finisher, Doctor Reactive Mega Drop Low from Light & Wonder, leapfrogged the competition into second.

Last month’s second-place Blackjack from IGT dropped into third position as a result, followed by Live Dealer Crazy Time from Evolution in fourth (November: third) and Capital Gains from AGS in fifth (November: seventh).

Two new titles made it into the top 10, as Triple Treasure from AGS secured seventh and Fire and Roses Jolly Joker by Games Global landed eighth place.

IGT also had another good month when it came to the top slots charts, as while Cash Eruption typically kept its first-place finish, the studio’s Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis also stayed in the top 10, but fell from last month’s second place to seventh.

Light & Wonder’s Doctor Reactive Mega Drop Low climbed from fifth in November to secure second place, while AGS’ Capital Gains cemented its third-place finish.

Meanwhile, AGS also claimed fourth place with a new entry, as Triple Treasure broke into the charts. The top five was completed by another new entry, the aforementioned Fire and Roses Jolly Joker from Games Global.

For the third month in a row, 12 suppliers were represented in the top slots charts. Light & Wonder, Evolution, Aristocrat, White Hat Studios, Reel Play, Everi, Inspired and Gamecode each had at least one slot appearing in the top 25.

A majority of new rankings and high-climbers made up the top new game list, with the aforementioned Triple Treasure and Fire and Roses Jolly Joker coming in first and second place, respectively.

While last month’s first-place finisher 3 Porky Banks Hold and Win was nowhere to be found in the top 10, November’s second-place finisher Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis from IGT dropped into third due to new rankings performing well.

7s Fire Blitz from White Hat Studios rose from sixth to fourth, while another new ranking Wheel of Fortune Diamond Spins 2x Wild by Playtech closed out the top five.

Similarly to every other month, each game that appeared in the top 25 new games was a slot title.

Evolution led the supplier charts for another month, securing the largest GGR share with around 19.8% (November: 18%). IGT and L&W also kept their respective second and third positions in the supplier charts with 18.6% (November: 17%) and approximately 11.2% (November: 13.4%).

Mobile recorded the highest percentage of theoretical win generated per vertical with 72.2%, followed by desktop at 27.1% and tablet at 0.7%.

The latest US Eilers-Fantini report examined data from Michigan, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut across 28 online casino sites and 73,611 games, representing around 65% of the US market.
