ReelPlay has unleashed hell on the reel set in its latest collaborative slot release with Yggdrasil, exciting players with a war between demons and soldiers to claim our Slot of the Week award with Armageddon 10K WAYS.
Demons terrorise a 6×4 reel grid in this slot, with players given 10,000 ways to win and the chance to claim a maximum win of x10,000 their stake. The slot offers medium-high volatility gameplay with an RTP of 96 per cent.
David Johnson, CEO at ReelPlay, commented: “ReelPlay are excited to see Armageddon 10K WAYS make its way to online players around the globe. Creating the game has been a passion project for the ReelPlay team, paying homage to beloved video games classics re-imagined for slot gaming enthusiasts.
“With the recent successful heritage of 10K WAYS we’re confident Armageddon 10K WAYS has all the ingredients to make it a successful spinner for players and operators alike.”
ReelPlay’s latest game has an additional top horizontal row that sits above reels two through four, adding an extra symbol to each of these rows.
Cascading wins also occur in this game, with winning symbols disappearing after providing their payouts to make way for new symbols that drop in from the top of the reels.
Portal scatters can drop into play, triggering the bonus game mode when six or more appear on the same turn. Wild soldier symbols can only appear on the game’s top horizontal row that sits above the reel set, substituting for all symbols other than the portal scatters.
In the bonus game mode, players are given three spins on an empty reel set where only portal scatters, demon symbols and wild soldiers can drop into play.
Each scatter that triggered the bonus game mode will gain a prize value before becoming sticky on the reels. Each portal scatter that appears in the bonus game will display prize values ranging from x1 to x100 the player’s bet.
Demons that drop into play will offer prizes that range from x1 to x100 the player’s wager, while blue, green, purple and red demons will appear with one, two, three or four lives, respectively.
These lives can be taken away whenever a soldier symbol drops into play, with only one soldier able to appear on every spin.
After dropping into play, these soldiers will gain a prize value that is equal to all demon symbols on the reels’ prize values added together, as long as those demons have one or more lives.
After collecting demon prizes, the wild soldier will shoot each demon, taking one life away from their tallies. When having run out of lives, demon symbols cannot have their prizes collected.
Each prize symbol that drops into play, whether a soldier, scatter or demon, will reset the number of spins to three.
Players can also win jackpots via these bonus game prizes, with the mini (x10) and minor (x50) prizes able to appear more than once and major (x250) and grand (x2,000) prizes only able to appear once.
Players will receive the accumulated value of all prizes that have appeared in the bonus game mode once it draws to a close.
Zoe Bird, Senior Product & Program Manager at Yggdrasil, added: “There’s been lots of hype around the release of Armageddon 10K WAYS and there’s a whole lot to be excited about in this dark, dystopian title.
“Fans of superb sci-fi artwork, big winning potential and high-octane cascading gameplay are going to love this game.”
